Terms & conditions

Last updated: 2 May 2026 — governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt

These terms govern the relationship between Cloud markit (the platform) and you as a subscribing merchant. Written in plain language for ease of reading — every clause is explicit, with no hidden fees or unstated conditions. Questions to support@cloudmarkit.com.

The Arabic version is the legally binding original. This English translation is provided for convenience.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Cloud markit (whether by signing up or by continuing to browse the site after agreeing to the terms during signup), you accept these terms in full.

If you don't agree with any clause, you may not use the service and you must end your account if you have one.

2. Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials (email and password) confidential, and for all activity under your account.

You must immediately notify us at support@cloudmarkit.com of any unauthorized use or potential security breach of your account.

You must be legally capable of entering contracts (18 or older) in the Arab Republic of Egypt or your country of residence.

3. Acceptable use

Use of the platform for any activity violating Egyptian law, or for trading legally restricted products, is prohibited.

Misuse of the infrastructure (e.g. unauthorized penetration testing, flooding APIs, or attempting to access other merchants' data) is prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately upon detecting any violation, while informing the account holder of the reasons.

4. Billing and subscriptions

The prices listed on the Pricing page cover every feature in the plan. Billing can be monthly or yearly per your choice at signup.

Payment is processed through approved gateways (Paymob, Fawry, Fawaterak). Gateways may charge their own transaction fees independently of us.

Trial period: 14 days free without a credit card, including the features available in your selected plan.

Auto-renewal: when your paid subscription period ends, we send an email reminder 7 days before renewal. You can stop auto-renewal anytime from Billing settings.

5. Refund policy

You can request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid subscription, no reason required.

After the 14-day window the subscription is non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime and the service stays active until the end of the paid period.

Refunds don't apply to external payment-gateway fees (if any).

To request a refund, email billing@cloudmarkit.com from the registered address — we'll process within 7 business days.

6. Cancellation and account deletion

You can cancel your subscription anytime from Billing settings with a single click — no questions.

After cancellation the account remains active in read/export mode until the end of the paid period.

To permanently delete the account and remove all data, send a request to privacy@cloudmarkit.com per the privacy policy.

7. Data ownership

Your data (products, customers, invoices, reports) is yours. We just host it and have no commercial rights over it.

You can export all your data as Excel or CSV anytime from the dashboard.

If we end the service from our side (e.g. shutting down the platform), we commit to giving you 90 days notice and providing a comprehensive export tool.

8. Limits of liability

The service is provided "as is" without explicit warranties about specific business outcomes. We don't guarantee a particular growth rate, and we're not liable for business decisions you make based on the data.

We aim for 99% monthly availability, but we don't offer a contractual SLA at this stage. For any extended outage we update the status page or send an email notice.

Our maximum liability in any dispute won't exceed the value of the last 12 months of your subscription, as permitted by Egyptian law.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in particular the Commercial Law, the Consumer Protection Law, and Personal Data Protection Law 151/2020.

In the event of a dispute, we'll first seek to resolve it amicably through direct communication. If that fails, the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Substantial changes (e.g. changing the refund policy or new fees) will be communicated by email 30 days before they take effect.

Continuing to use the service after changes take effect is considered implicit acceptance. You can reject changes by canceling your account before their effective date.
